In earlier days(nearly 150 years since 1776) all the success literature was focussed on Character Ethics as the foundation of success.Key factors are -
The Character Ethics taught there are basic principles of efffective living, and that people can only experience true success and enduring happiness as they learn and integrate these principles into their basic character.
But shortly after World War I, the basic view of success shifted from Character Ethics to Personality Ethics! Where success bccome more a function of
all the things that lubricate the process of Human Interaction!
This Personality Ethics took two paths:
Some of this philosophy was really inspiring and expressed in classics like
But!But!But! Other part of these approach were clearly
Character was referred as an ingredient of success...but its importance was not emphasised as it needed.
Basic thrust was given to:
Please understand one thing, elements of Personality Ethics are important and sometimes essential for success. But these are SECONDARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually we are focussing so much about our building, that we are forgetting about the foundation!!!
We are busy in reaping for so long where we have not sown! perhaps we have forgotten the need to sow!!!
So finally I understood, if I try to use human influence strategies and tactics of how to get other people do whatever I want, to

Then in the LONG RUN I can't be successful!!!
My duplicity will breed distrust, and everything I do even using so-called good human relation techniques- will be perceived as manipulative.
So finally to be really successsful, till the end of your life take an 'inside-out ' approach! i.e.
Try to be a good human being really, don't pretend to be.

- encouraging people to use techniques to get other people like them,
- to fake interest in the hobbies of others to get out of them what they wanted.
- to use the 'power look',
- to intimidate their way through life,

- quick-fix influence techniques
- power strategies
- communication skills
- positive attitudes
Please understand one thing, elements of Personality Ethics are important and sometimes essential for success. But these are SECONDARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
