What My Mom don't know about Dreaming Big

When I first started teaching Personal Growth, I used to arrange the classes at my home. One day I was teaching my students about the importance of dreaming big, as usual my mom eavesdropped, and told me furiously after the class "Babai (my nick-name) do you know how much wrong teaching you are giving to others? One should never dream big. Haven't you seen that a plate breaks into more number of pieces when fall from greater hight? Same is here. If you dream big, but fail to achieve it, it will be more painful"



For a moment I was stuck, but a moment later I smiled and brought a rubber ball and dropped it from little height - it bounced back little. Then I dropped the ball from higher position, it bounced back more. The higher I took the ball and dropped it bounced back higher!

Then I told my mother - 

Whether we will be broken into pieces or bounce back again, if we fail to achieve our big dreams; depends on what material we are made of - rubber or glass!

Guess what, she hugged me and told me that she had never thought it like that.

My suggestion to all of you- Dare to Dream Big, never ever be afraid of failure. It's a necessary companion in the Journey to success. Accept it, learn from it and fight back once again to touch your biggest dreams.
